How it works

One app starts it.
Anything can join.

One person with the app starts a game. Everyone else joins on the app, or on any phone or laptop in a web browser, with nothing to install.

    Four letters. Or hold up the screen so friends can scan the QR code.

This website can't start a game. Only the app can. Once a game is going, anyone with the code can join it from here.

A party game for the whole room, built so that we can't identify who's playing. The details are in our privacy policy, in plain words.

  • No accountsNo sign-up and no login.
  • No adverts, nothing to buyThere are no adverts in the game and nothing to buy in it.
  • No chatThere's no free-text chat anywhere. In Stratofortress meetings, players tap lines from a fixed list of phrases.
  • Callsigns are filteredThe only thing a player types is a callsign. It's checked against a list of unsuitable words on the phone and again on our server, and the app says "Don't use your real name" right where you type it.
  • We never ask who you areWe never ask for a name, email address or location.
  • Anonymous counts onlyThe app sends us only anonymous game counts and bug reports, never linked to you. No third-party analytics or advertising companies.
